Hydrafacial's Patented Technology

The Hydrafacial uses Vortex-Fusion technology, combining three stages into one personalised skincare solution. It clears excess sebum, removes impurities, and exfoliates dead skin cells. The cleansing phase targets pores, exfoliates, and leaves the face refreshed. The final step involves fusing potent serums onto the skin for deep, long-lasting absorption.

What Happens During a Hydrafacial Treatment?

What Happens During a Hydrafacial Treatment?

1. Initial Consultation

Start your Hydrafacial journey with an initial consultation with a qualified cosmetic practitioner to determine the suitability of Hydrafacial for your needs.

2. Pre-Treatment Preparation

Prior to your  treatment, the treatment area is cleansed to remove any dirt, oil or debris from the surface of the skin.

3. Throughout Treatment

Through each phase of the Hydrafacial, a different tip is used on the end of the vortex-fusion handpiece and a new serum is applied to enhance results.

4. Post Treatment

Immediately following treatment the skin will appear slightly pink and may feel tingly or tight. This is normal and tends to subside within 24 following treatment.

5. LED treatment

After the chemical peel, a complimentary LED light treatment is performed to reduce inflammation and promote general rejuvenation following the peel.

Is a Hydrafacial Right for You?

The Hydrafacial is suitable for a wide variety of skin types and can help individuals achieve the youthful, glowing look they desire. Those with facial rashes, severe nodulocystic acne, severe rosacea, or sunburn should avoid this treatment and consult their dermatologist beforehand. Hydrafacial treatments should be avoided in pregnancy and breastfeeding. Those with shellfish allergies should also avoid the treatment. Suggested Treatment Schedule

For optimal skin health, it is recommended to have a Hydrafacial treatment once every 4 to 6 weeks. This is not to say that a single treatment will not be beneficial, but rather that regular treatments can offer multiple benefits. Such benefits include improved skin tone, texture, and minimised pore size with reduction in hyperpigmentation and fine lines.

Frequently asked questions

A Hydrafacial treatment is a 30-minute, noninvasive way of removing dead skin cells and other debris from your face. It’s effective at cleansing the skin while exfoliating it too. Medical grade serums are then infused to protect it from damage caused by oxidative stressors. This fast procedure offers great results for those seeking to improve their complexion and overall facial health.

HydraFacial is an ideal treatment for those wishing to revitalise their skin’s appearance and address acne or other related issues. This process involves gently removing dead skin cells with exfoliation, restoring a bright and healthy look while hydrating the face. So it can help remove dullness caused by these old cells while promoting natural radiance all in one go.

In order to sustain the results of a HydraFacial, regular treatments are encouraged. Results typically last for 4-6 weeks from each session and are cumulative. Your practitioner will also discuss relevant skincare with you to ensure that you get the best out of your treatment and your skincare routine.
