Frequently asked questions
RF Microneedling can be used to improve a variety of skin conditions, including fine lines and wrinkles, acne scarring, sun damaged skin, and uneven skin tone and texture. It can also help to stimulate the production of collagen and elastin, making the skin appear firmer and more youthful.
Many people find that RF microneedling is worth it because it can provide significant improvements in the appearance of their skin. While it may require multiple treatments to achieve optimal results, the procedure has minimal downtime and few side effects.
The length of time that RF microneedling results last can vary depending on a variety of factors, such as the age of the patient, the condition of their skin, and their lifestyle habits. In general, results can last for several months to a year or more with proper post-treatment and care.
RF Microneedling is well suited to most people, but there are some individuals who may not be good candidates for the procedure. These include pregnant or nursing women, people with certain skin conditions, and those with a history of keloid scarring.
RF Microneedling and Botox are two different types of treatments that can address different concerns. Botox is typically used to relax facial muscles and reduce the appearance of wrinkles, while RF microneedling can improve the overall texture and tone of the skin.
While RF microneedling is generally well-tolerated, there are some potential side effects and risks associated with the procedure. These can include redness, swelling, bruising, and infection. It’s important to choose a qualified and experienced practitioner to minimise the risk of complications.
